This is a book I wrote to introduce the tenants of governance required to ensure your organisation can derive data driven insights and data driven value from your AI and machine learning initiatives. Without effective data governance, you risk outcomes, decision making and data quality.
One thing we know to be absolutely true, poor data quality = woeful AI.
Education Industry Paper
Our leader Rob Wilkins was asked to write an article focusing on the customer experience lens of IT and predict what would provide the benefits for our sector to enhance the experience for teachers and students alike. He chose to focus on consolidation and aggregation of data and analytics to help schools examine their own experiences and build on a platform of performance improvement.

Thought Leadership
Rob Wilkins was interviewed on some of the thought leadership he provided whilst at the Department of Education. Think of learning management systems that are housed within organisations. Usually there's a dedicated team to being able to administer that LMS, put learning up there for people within the organisation, create courses, create e-learning, create Adobe Connect or virtual classroom sessions etc. The aspect of what he was encouraging was to let go and "let learn" by enabling every teacher, leader and principal to do the same thing.

Our Director, Rob Wilkins, brings unique perspectives as a practitioner, a learner and researcher in corporate learning as well as experiences as an IT professional with CIO experience over the last 9 years. His experience has been gained over the last 30 years in the Financial Services, Professional Services, Not for Profit, Health and Education industries. His professional ethos has been built on a strong practitioner focus and contemporary leadership approach with an active involvement in the “doing”, to inform his leadership landscape and provide opportunities to apply and evaluate the theories that have been posited in his field of expertise. With qualifications in information management and design, adult and online learning, business management and a masters in information management, his personal Journey has been one of intrigue and specialty.
Rob's writings have been featured in Education and Technology Insights magazine, ASTD's Learning Circuits and Rob has recently written an e-book on Data Governance Demystified for beginners. Rob has had many speaking engagements including being a past speaker for Edutech, ASTD, AITD, ElNet, LearnX, ISPI, IQPC, ILP, Australian Learning Analytics Summer Institute at UTS and Rob regularly speaks at breakfasts and education functions for schools and universities.
